Proud Moment


Couldn't believe it, I got placed 3rd (out of 30 members) on Saturday at the Annual Onion Show. Its the highest placing I have ever achieved in 10 years of being of the Onion club. Happy Dancing!!

p.s. Mark got 7th Place - I beat him AGAIN!!! ROFL! ..... and he's the expert!

Congratulations!! What beauties :) I remember your onion post from last year too - well done!

I'm curious - do you eat them afterwards and do they have to go in a special meal as they are so prized? And any tips? I want to grow some red onions next year as they're a bit pricey and I love them (not prize-winning ones though, just for eating!)

Poor, sad Mark...he can never keep up with you, Su. I'm thinking your onions this year are just as beautiful as last year's...so you got robbed last year!!! What precious little pearls.
