Yay its Friday

No stitchy pictures today, the weather when I got home from work was diabolical, Has our British summer finished?? I hope not, I can't show my lovely tan off if this weather keeps up. Luckily I managed to get into the garden yesterday evening after work and do the much needed weeding and grass cutting and edging it required before the rain started and I felt very accomplished once it was done.

I thought I would share with you the sweet peas I picked from the garden yesterday, which are sitting on my bedside table, in one of my favourite pressed glass jugs, if you look hard enough you can just make out my GORGEOUS new white bedding from Laura Ashley - Yes I splurged, and what a big splurge it was too, the bedding is like patchwork with different squares sewn together there is even a cross stitched part to it, so it was a must have for me (Well a girl needs something pretty doesn't she and especially as I have changed the bedroom about) I also treated myself to a 240count Egyptian cotton fitted sheet and oh my its soft, I can't wait to jump into bed tonight LOL!!

Well I will go back to my Abigail Colby sampler, not that much left to do on it really so I might have it done by the end of the weekend. Hope you all have a great weekend - 'chat soon'

Hugs

What a lovely room you have created Su! The sweet peas from your garden are so beautiful - gorgeous colors. The glass jug is elegant, and your lamp is too. I love white bedding! And, it has cross stitch too? Sounds like it was made for you.

Have a special weekend, and enjoy stitching your sampler. Can't wait to see it!

Lovely, I love your new white quilt cover. I love egyptian cotton, and always vow that if I was a millionaire, I'd have a cleaner, and clean bedding every day, and it would have to be ironed too. I just love crisp bedding.
