Bunnies in the Garden

Well its finally all put together my 'Bunnies in the Garden' by 'With my Needle' from Elegant Stitch, this was such a delight to do.

This is the inside which I trimmed using silk hand-dyed green ribbon and I used a cotton polka dot fabric I had in my fabric box.

This is the outside with my initial. I made very few changes to the colours apart from the blue (darker one) on the bluebirds. I wish I had changed the flower sprigs colour as I feel they are a bit insignificant against the bunny and the linen colour.

Very very attractive. I first thought you had bunnies in your garden eating your beans like what is happening here. Your bunnies are better behaved. Maria S>

Your Bunnies in the Garden look wonderful Sue, and the rainbow Dovo's go really well with the set. Wish I lived nearer to you so I could see it in person.

Well done and TFS

I just love it. One of these days I should finish mine too. A little correction - it's by With My Needle :)

Susi, that is LOVELY!

Wish I'd had more time to stitch of late - I'm feeling withdrawal symptoms. Can't wait until the flat is pretty much done and we are a trunking free zone with Council approval!!! Actually, there's only one bit of wiring that's still surface as it's hidden behind the sofa and we decided not to bother with it. The rest *should* be OK!=) Just need to get cleaned and cleared up in the living room, then I can think straight about what comes next!!!

You really have posted some beautiful pix of late.=) Keep it up!

Hugs, Elisabeth=)

Bunnies in My Garden turned out beautifully - great job :D I still haven't started mine yet oops ... have to admit, though, I'm starting to look at my blue overdyed thread, and I think I might follow your example and go darker by a shade or two as well, as my thread skein is quite pale - thanks for that hint :)
