My tom cat Floozi went missing from home from Sunday night, we went everywhere looking for him and couldn't find him and asked friends and neighbours if they had seen him. A friend whilst walking his dog this morning rang at 5:45am and said he had found him, I went rushing to where he said he was which was in the long grass in the house where he used to live before we took him in, he was all curled up looking for all the world as though he was asleep, I am so upset, he was my wonderful little man and he had such a gentle personality. I just can't stop crying. Mark is all upset too.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am about Floozi. He looks so much like our tom cat, Snoopy. My heart truely goes out to you. He was lucky to have such a wonderful family to look after him. {hug}
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's always so hard to lose a pet. Hopefully it's a comfort to know he went peacefully it seems.

Su, I'm so sorry about Floozi! He looks very well cared on the pic, very happy, and he certainly had a wonderful life with you. Very very often, cats will look for a solitary place to die; it's remains of their wild life: they won't show their weakness. You are "lucky" that your neighbour found him, so you could grieve him properly, and take care of him finally.
Sending you and Mark all my support, and understanding. I have lost two cats six and seven years ago, and I will always miss them.

It sounds as though he took himself off to pass away peacefully without wanting to cause distress to you. Take heart he is looking down on you and playing happily in Rainbow Bridge.
