Last ornie this week

This is the last Christmas Ornament for this week - Its designed by Pat Rogers counted collection and was in the 1997 JCS Christmas ornie book. This is the first time I have finished an ornament this way and I'm not quite sure about it, I think I got it slightly skewiff!!! Its stitched on 32ct linen and I have added red silk ribbon to the hearts.

I have been stitching something lovely for myself this week, which I finally finished last night, I should have been working on BD - Remember me, but I will go back to it tonight and get some more done - its the grass on this its driving me mad!!! If I hadn't been in a SAL I don't think I would be finishing it.

Su,
That is really pretty and SO festive. I love the nun's stitch edging, it really frames it. Can't wait to see what you have been stitching for yourself.

I think it looks really pretty! And even if it's not perfectly straight that's the charm of hand-made things! :)

Looking forward to seeing what you've been stitching yourself!

Hi there! Where did you get your sparkly background from? How often do you like to change your header photos? I keep wondering about changing mine.....

I'm in awe of your ornament finishing pace! And you not only stitch them fast but also sew them up fast. And beautifully!

I love this ornament. I don't know if your finish is the same as the magazine or not but I do love the nun's stitch edging. The charm of this ornament is the old fashioned lettering.
