I blame Avril ......

....yes its all her fault, instead of stitching, what am I doing - knitting, Av by the way is my friend and an avid knitter and crocheter and has her very own wool shop!!
The wool is called Opal and the colour is called wintermarchern, I love the varigated effect its knitting up to, in fact I have almost finished the scarf, its just a 1 ball scarf (100g ball).

Do you see my gorgeous knitting needles they are KnitPro Bamboo needles and they are just the right length and have the right feel to them when I'm knitting, they are very psychadelic!!

WOW that scarf looks like it is going to be scrummy. If I wasn't stitching, quilting and doll-making I would certainly give knitting a go but I have so much stash I just can't! Or can it?

How funny! I am knitting a scarf too at the moment with number 8 needles and a yarn in three colours with huge pom poms! I am a cross stitcher though! I haven't knitted for 20 years!Ariadne from Greece.

Your knitting is as gorgeous as your stitching Su! The yarn is beautiful and it goes so well with the needles. I hope you will share a photo when it's finished.

Oh, I'm so jealous! I'd love to learn to knit better, but I just can't lay my stitching down. Maybe when I retire ...

Your scarf is so pretty.

Very pretty! I don't have the patience to knit but my mom does it and is teaching my oldest DD to knit. I use a machine to knit some things on and its so much fun. I can do a scarf in a matter of hours!

I'm more of a knitter than a stitcher myself these days - who wouldn't be when there are such beautiful yarns availablelike the one you're using?

Beautiful knitting, Su. Why do I have the feeling you are a knitter at heart? Did your sis tell me or did you? Can't remember. Anyway, enjoy your gorgeous yarn and your needles!
