This is a little about me and my hobby which I am so passionate about at times, well all the time really.
'Tis the season......
to be jolly!! - Well almost it is.
Mum and I do a Christmas ornament exchange most years, and this year the one I have received from mum is simply wonderful, the top part (the Christmas writing) is part of a Brightneedle chart, the santa and the reindeer on either side are from a Prairie Schooler chart and the bottom bit mum made up herself and finished it into the cutest fatest needleroll, its just perfect and will look wonderful on my tree when I put up soon - This years christmas theme/style is kind of country meets homespun in my house and hopefully it will look how I want it to look LOL! but I know that this fits it perfectly.
For mum I gave her a choice and she picked Brittercups ornament from this years JCS ornament magazine, I stitched it on white evenweave using DMC and trimmed the edges with cord and beads and I made the hanger part with the same bugle beads.

What lovely ornaments Su, I love them both. I have my eye on the pattern that your mum chose, so I may be stitching that up before Christmas, just waiting on some fabric.
