Peaceful Ways

I just loved stitching this. Its called Peaceful ways by Lori Markovic (La-D-Da, I stitched it on 32ct Desert Sand linen and the only thread I substituted was WDW Scheneckly for Tarnished Gold (Only cos I didn't have tarnished gold) all other threads used are GAST, its stitched 1/2, and I love the mellow but delicate look it gives. I didn't stitch the edging or my initials and year as I want to place it in an oblong box lid.

Lovely, as always! I've never seen a La D Da design that I didn't like. Do post a picture of your finished project - I'm anxious to see the piece in the box.

It's beautiful, Su, and it's surprising how such a small thing as leaving off your initials & the year changes the shape and changes the overall look of the piece.

Su, I was just curious (I have this one kitted up and was looking at it today): did you use GAST Cinnamon on the outer edges of the flowers as well as on the branches? They look darker in your picture and on the chart cover, but I noticed that they are the same color... hope my question makes sense! If you have time to email me my addy is rachelvendsel@yahoo.com - otherwise I will check back here!! :)
