Sage advice I feel after everything that seems to be happening in my life at the moment, and its advice I'm taking LOL!
As yet its not been placed into its frame and mount, but I wnated to show it to you. The design is from the October 2010 Cross stitcher magazine. I have stitched it on 40 ct linen using Needlepoint silk, I loved stitching this and I hope to properly frame it today, but you can see it in the mount and frame I chose to put it in.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend, Harry and I went for a walk this morning, but its just a bit too frosty I think for his little feet and he didn't want to go to far, I was all prepared for a long walk but he wasn't LOL! Don't forget to have a look at my sale stuff you might find something that you like - you never know LOL! I'm going to go through my fabrics next and maybe put some of them up for sale too.

Beautiful! I think I should stitch something like this and hang it above my desk at work LOL. A good motto to live by I think.
Love it!
That's very pretty, Su.
It sounds like Harry needs some little booties! :)
Have a wonderful day!
It's beautiful Su, although I must admit I AM a bit worried that you need to stitch this in order to feel it.
Poor Harry, I hope, for his little legs' sake that the weather turns springlike soon!
Much love,
An.
I love your new finish and think you've chosen well, both mount and frame
it is rather icy for our pooches paws but i think the salt/grit they put down is worse for there paws, as it must nip beacause my dogs spend about an hour licking them when they come home
Lovely finish!
I love your piece! Great advice for all us stitchers.
And we're so unbearably cold around here, but my silly dog keeps asking to go outside and then sits there like the snow and cold doesn't bother him. He refuses to come inside. I have to keep checking on him to make sure he hasn't frozen to death. Silly dog!
Beautiful finish. I bought the recent copy of that mag having not bought it for years and it has had a bit of a makeover I see. Some really lovely projects in it. x
This is very pretty and calm! I like this saying and was saying to my DH around Christmas about stitching something like this!
LOL, I love it!! I love stitching with Needlepoint Silk...I'm sure that was calming in and of itself. =)
Congratulations on your finish! It looks great!
Great advice! Love it!
LOVE this piece. I make it my new motto :-)
Beautiful Su, and this advice is just for me, too!! LOL
I was very irritated last night by an old lady's word to me, so this advice makes me be calm and do cross stitch today!!! hahaha!
I really want to see this in the mount and frame!!

Great advice, and so true. Wonderfully stitched and that frame and mount are just perfect for the stitched piece.
I love this design is so simple and elegant!! I wish I can find the magazine to get it and be able to stitch it.
Great job finishing this piece :)
I love it! Simple yet beautiful. And the mat and frame you've chosen complements it so prettily.
