A pinkeep

Its a friends birthday real soon and I wanted to stitch her a little something as she is a lovely friend to me, so I chose to stitch this pinkeep by Fancy Work from the chart 'A pair of pinkeeps' this one is the Victorian one, its stitched on 32ct white linen and I used my silk threads by Kaalund. I'm going to pop this in the post today so that hopefully it will get to its destination in time.

Great pinkeep, I really should get mine stitched the same as this...another of my charts I've yet to get done and the pile grows...lol Your pins are nice on this, the way they are makes them look like glass head pins. I LIKE !

Happy Valentines Day xx

Oh Su,
I can't believe it. This beautiful pinkeep is mine. It's here, at my side as I write this and I have to say, it is even more beautiful close up. The finishing is so neat and the red cording is silky soft and such a rich deep red. The pins are a delicate pistachio green...hmmm, gorgeous! I can't ever thank you enough. I will treasure it.
